The Dahlia School is committed to making high-quality education accessible to all families in our community. We currently offer tuition assistance programs so that financial circumstances are never a barrier to enrollment.
2026-2027 Tuition Rates
Comunidad Infantil
Children 18 months to 3 years old (approximately) the first day of school 2026.
Tuition schedules are for 10 month school year August 2026 – May 2027
Half Day: $32,738 annually (1pm pickup Mon – Fri)
Extended Day 1: $37,918 annually (3pm pickup Mon – Fri)
Extended Day 2: $43,098 annually (5:30pm pickup Mon – Thurs, 4:30pm Fri)
Drop-off is 8am – 8:30am Mon – Thurs, 9 – 9:30am Fri
Extended Day is available for a daily rate (space permitting) of $35 per day for 2-2.5 hours and $65 for 4.5 hours.
Tuition includes healthy plant-based lunch and snacks daily, books and educational materials, all school supplies, gently-used uniforms, outdoor education, field trips, and yearbooks.
Summer months are optional for all students. Customized tuition also applies to summer months.
Enrollment fees
One-time enrollment: $0 - 2,750 (Depending on customized tuition program)
Annual re-enrollment: $0 - 650 (Depending on customized tuition program)
New uniform option: $375

Payment Options
A single annual payment due in full by April 20, 2026.
Equal monthly payments at a monthly fee of 5% per the following schedule: Last month tuition deposit in full by April 20, 2026. This deposit is non-refundable and will be applied towards May 2027 tuition.
Early Learning For All (ELFA) program (confirmation must be received by ELFA and Dahlia for this enrollment agreement to be honored)
Casa de Niños
Children approximately 3 to 6 years old by the first day of school 2026.
Tuition schedules are for 10 month school year August 2026 – May 2027

Academic Day: $36,001 annually (3pm pickup Mon – Fri)
Extended Day: $40,663 annually (5:30pm pickup Mon – Thurs, 4:30pm Fri)

Financial Aid and Customized Tuition Programs
Families at The Dahlia School may access tuition support through the following programs:
Early Learning For All (ELFA) Program
Through this program, the San Francisco Department of Early Childhood provides free and low-cost preschool and childcare to eligible San Francisco families.
We kindly ask families to apply to ELFA first and only apply to Dahlia Scholars if they are not eligible for the ELFA program.
Dahlia Scholars
Through this program, The Dahlia School offers financial assistance to families who ARE NOT eligible for the ELFA program. This program supports families with household incomes approximately up to $325,000 for a family of four.
Families applying for Dahlia Scholars should plan to file their taxes early, as tax returns are required by February 26, 2027, for all Dahlia Scholars applicants, including currently enrolled families.
Sibling Discount
Families who pay full tuition and have multiple children enrolled at The Dahlia School receive an automatic 5% sibling discount on the lowest tuition.
