School Campuses.

Wildflower schools sit in light-filled spaces on walkable streets. They increase the presence of children and families in the community, as more narrow geographic focus supports walking to and from school, and by partnering with local playgrounds, gardens and other civic spaces that would otherwise be on-site in larger institutions. We expand our definition of “stakeholders” beyond the families we serve directly, and we work to make our surrounding communities stronger and healthier for children.

Our preschool program for children 18 months to 6 years old is located at 116 Channel Street in San Francisco, a cornerstone retail location of the Mission Bay community and the One Mission Bay condominium project. Our elementary program for students ages 5 to 12 years old will similarly be located in a beautiful light filled space nearby in Mission Bay at 1245 4th Street.

We feel very lucky to have signed ten year lease agreements for such beautiful facilities, with and nearby beautiful outdoor space, gardens and soccer fields. Our campuses are in walkable and accessible parts of the community, helping us fulfill our promise of being a neighborhood-nested school.

Overall, I highly recommend the school. Dahlia is now a staple in Mission Bay and it’s clear that Dahlia supports the stores, services, and restaurants in the neighborhood, and that love and support is reciprocated (Gus’s, PowerPlay, Spark, Tadu, etc)
